Commits that while holding a FSC certificate, it will not take part, directly or indirectly, in the following activities that are deemed unacceptable by the FSC.
- Illegal cutting or trading of trees and forest products,
- Violation of traditional rights and human rights during forestry operations,
- Destruction of forests with high conservation value during forestry operations,
- Transformation of natural forest areas into plantations or non-forest lands,
- Use of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations,
- Violation of workers’ rights and principles defined in the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work within the forestry or forest products sector
